This season reminds me a bit of the Marco Rose season

Both in the 21/22 as in this season, BVB's goal of reaching a CL spot never really looked endangered.

We will reach 73 point at most against 69 points in the Rose season.

In both seasons we told ourselves that we stood a chance in the fight for the title, lost 2:3 in our home games against Bayern, which were both close fight. In both months of March (around matchday 28), with 9 points behind Bayern and ~10 points in front of the 3rd placed team, the team had nothing much to play for and showed disappointing performances.

I'm well aware that there are major differences between seasons.

While our eliminations in the DFB-Pokal and the CL/EL were way more embarassing under Rose, we need to acknowledge that the overall squad was worse in the 21/22 season (Schulz, Pongracic, Hazard, Zagadou...) and the amount of injuries the players suffered was all over the place.

Also, Bayern is much stronger under Komoany (77 points in 21/22) than under Nagelsmann (up to 89 points at best in this season).
