Christians teach children to love Jesus and religious servants, Buddhists teach children to think Buddha and religious servants are untouchable
Christians often make Jesus and priests cosplays, mock Jesus themselves, troll the priests and nuns. It’s not done by anti-Christian people. It’s done by real religious Christians and they never considered it as blasphemy.
So, what happened later? Children thinks Jesus is not something untouchable, it’s among them, very close to them, and feels Christianity, priests and nuns is very friendly and light hearted. And they love Jesus and religious servants more and more.
Buddhists never would or could love Buddha or Buddhism the way Christians love Jesus and Christianity. Because Buddhists were taught from childhood that Buddha is untouchable, unquestionable, and un-critizeable. Buddhists were taught more to be dogmatic and symbolic rather than actual feeling close to their religious figure and servants.
Buddhists never feel Buddha in their mind or heart the way Christians feel. Buddhists never feel close to religious servants and thinks that they are among them the way Christians would feel.
That’s why Christian communities and institutions feel inclusive, can survive even as a minor, have strong religious routine traditions.
