Got a girl's instagram, she hasn't replied in over a day, should i give up?

Got a girls instagram at work, messaged her about how that shift was at around 12.30am on Wednesday (just to start a conversation), she replied at 10am in the morning and then i replied at 7pm in the evening and it is still on delivered and she hasn't opened it. Its 6 pm Thursday.

I take it as low interest, there is a chance she won't even open it or reply but even if she does reply , should i leave it unopened and just move on?. She probably sees us as acquaintances. Im double texting or begging a conversation.
