After a power outage, how long is food actually safe in the fridge?

Had a power outage in my area earlier today, lasted like 4-5 hrs. Not sure if it was just my street or a bigger local grid issue, but a few ppl nearby had it too.

First couple hours I didn't think much. Kept the fridge closed most of the time, only opened it once or twice real quick.

Inside I had the usual stuff like eggs, milk, yogurt, leftovers, some cooked rice, plus frozen meat in the freezer. A couple things in the freezer were starting to thaw a bit.

When power came back the fridge still felt cold and the freezer was mostly solid, but tbh I don't really trust my own judgement on what’s still safe vs what should probs be tossed.

Didn't really think about backup power at first. It's been a while since the last outage so it didn't click. A few hrs in, while I was talking with a friend, I remembered I had a Jackery solar generator sitting in storage.

Went to grab it from the garage just to check it, and it was still showing like 98% even tho it's been sitting there unused for like half a year. Used it to keep the fridge running for the rest of the outage.

Now I’m just tryna figure out the food side of it. Stuff online about food safety after a power outage, fridge without electricity, or how long food lasts in the fridge during an outage all feels kinda general, but real life is messier.

Mainly not sure about stuff like milk, eggs, cooked rice, leftovers, and slightly thawed meat.

For a 4-5 hr outage, how do ppl usually decide what's still safe to keep?
