Arcanum Loyalty Path?

Can anyone tell me when, if ever, we lock in with an LI in this story? My gameplay in S2 seems to be suggesting that I'm romancing multiple people, which I'm definitely not doing intentionally... I was trying to be friendly to Mary, but I guess it got misconstrued T.T
