A we should get rid of all stop signs

All stop signs should be abolished and replaced with yield signs. The effect would be that you still have to stop if you can't proceed safely. On the other hand, you could roll through if there's no cars coming in the other direction which would, over time and millions of vehicles, save enormous amounts of gas. The idea of having to stop sign in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night is absurd.
