Akal Thakt rejected Hari Singh Nalwa Movie, should SGPC use a % of their budget to tell our history through movies/TV shows?

I heard majority of their budget is literally just pocketed by committe members. Ofc Idk if this is true of not, but my question is if our religious institutions dont want our history to be manipulated, why not tell them themselves? Ofc this would never happen lol.
