Need recommendations for a good 4k IPS monitor.

Discussion

PC Specs:

Cpu: ryzen 9700x

GPU: 9070xt

RAM: 32GB 6000MHZ cl36.

Use case:

I'm a programmer for about 60% of my use on my PC, the rest is me gaming, content creation, and maybe watching a few videos. The games I enjoy are story driven games, the rare shooter, racing games, and of course Minecraft but I don't think that last one really factors.

The game plan:

I'm very well aware that OLEDs are king of gaming but the opinions on OLEDs for productivity seem to be a bit divided so I'm wanting to stick with a safe option for now and get a 1440p OLED a little further down the line to dedicate to gaming. But for now a 4k ips monitor should server well until that point.

What I'm upgrading from:

Currently I'm using a 1080p 24 inch Scepter monitor I bought used for my Steam deck. This monitor will probably become the second monitor until I get another upgrade further down the line.

Budget:

My prefered budget is >= $500. I'm willing to stretch it a little if the quality difference is substantial enough to justify it (in my mind).

Preference notes:

I would prefer a flat panel, I've never been a huge fan of curved monitors, but I think I could get used to it if the value is good enough. Also my desk space makes it so if I want a second monitor, the main one can only be 27" maximum. I think I might be able to fit a 32 inch in here if I reorient things a bit, but I like my current work flow so 27 inch is preferred.
