Potential miscarriage
I believe that I'm having a miscarriage right now. I am probably about 5 weeks (hard to calculate though because I think I ovulated late). Yesterday I started spotting in the morning. The bleeding has gradually increased but has not been super heavy. I've had a lot of cramping. I also took a pregnancy test yesterday and the line was significantly lighter. I called my obgyn office and talked to the nurse in the afternoon yesterday. They want me to come in tomorrow but she was very optimistic, assuring me that some bleeding can happen, cramping can be normal, and the line on the treat could get lighter based on time of day and hydration. She said "let's get you in for your first ultrasound to make sure everything's ok!". I understand that she was trying to be hopeful and reassuring and I do know that their is a chance that everything will be fine. But I'm nearly certain that I'll go in for the ultrasound to find that I've miscarried. I know she can't diagnose anything over the phone and they can't know for sure without an ultrasound but I kind of wish that she wouldn't have been so positive. I feel like it's almost going to hurt more when I'm holding on to that bit of hope. It almost felt a little bit dismissive, I kind of wanted somebody to validate what I'm experiencing. I just feel like now I'm on limbo until tomorrow which sucks.
