Are there freak athletes among animals?

Like how there are olympic athletes, the top 1/10000th of 1 percent of human athletes, are there also animals like that? Like an Olympic athlete level gorilla that's stronger than all other gorillas? Or do animals not have those exceptions and they're all relatively average and equal to each other?
