Are my boots too tall for me ?

Hello,

I apologise in advance if it's a stupid question. I just bought real leather boots for the first time. The exact reference is : Solovair Derby 8 Eye Greasy Boots and I'm 150cm.

I was wondering if the boots are too tall for me ? Walking is fine but I tried to squat in the boots and I realised that I can't do that. I feel like the boots reach my calf and the leather digs into the area where my calf bends ? I don't know if I'm explaining it correctly.

Should I let the leather adjust ? Or are they just too tall for me ?
