Crimson Desert at 1440p Output

Hey everyone,

Wanted to get people’s take on this: hopefully from people who know more about this stuff than I do.

Apparently if you force the resolution on the Ps5Pro to 1440p, the fps on quality mode almost doubles, albeit outputting at a lower resolution. I’m currently not at home and don’t have access to my LG G5 with its own upscaling algorithm, so I don’t have anything that I can test my theory out on.

Could the TV theoretically do a decent job upscaling the 1440p image back up to 4K?

Potential drawbacks? Is balanced at 4K with approx 38-39fps ultimately better than Quality at 1440p with approx 60fps?

Anyone feel like testing it out?
