CUHK Dorm, Living expenses, and Overall Experience
Hi guys! I am an international student from Central Asia, and I just got accepted to the CUHK IBBA program with a full-tuition scholarship for 4 years. I have a bit of a difficult situation, my mother is the only provider in my family (I don't have a father) and I am the only child.
Her income is enough here in my country, which is around 16k $ a year, but I am really worried if it would be enough for studying in Hong Kong since it is a really expensive city and we have to pay for all living expenses and tickets.
1. I wanted to know how much I need to live comfortably (i don't mean clubs or alc at all, just a rare eat out, I can cook) in CUHK?
2. What colleges are good for international students in terms of support, facilities, and opportunities? Is there a way to get a scholarship on dorm too?
3. Can I write the Office of admission and fin aid or the Business School faculty to give me more scholarship for allowance? Is that possible or not?
4. What is the best things/opportunities about CUHK in your opinion? Why is it worth it?
I would be really grateful for your answers!
