Lucid Dreams

I've seen this before,
I know how it ends.
Like a movie I've watched
All the twists and bends.

But this time, it's not a movie
Far from it, something worse.
It's my mind
Trapped in a hearse.

Like a bad drug,
I'm in love with the bliss.
Confident enough,
To lean in for the kiss.

But I know deep down,
This feeling won't last.
And that's when I awake,
Realizing my moment has passed.
