Homage to the SONY D6C.

I finally got my grubby little hands on a very early SONY D6C which was in Dire Straits for some tlc.

I put in the work cleaned it all up and finally got it to play, and man let me tell ya what a brilliant piece of 80s cassette tech.

The sound is just crystal clear, playback is so unbelievably stable I've heard nothing quite like it before.

I can't believe Sony was able to produce it, it is like a full portable cassette deck.

The only thing that bums me out is that the previous owner tried to clean it with a solvent and now some of the writing is gone which I do have to admit looks clean but makes it a guessing game what the settings are lol
