The only thing he did was just not make Enji take the easy way out by having him sacrifice himself in a blaze of glory.

No,he has to LIVE with the fact that he basically destroyed his family for his own pride and selfish goals.

He has to live with the fact that he abused and drove his wife to insanity.

He has to live with the fact that he basically played a huge part in turning his oldest son into a monster(not justifying Touya's actions but still).

He has to live with the fact that he only became the N1 hero cause All Might physically couldn't anymore + His "masterpiece" Shoto never became the N1 hero like he wanted(tho Shoto is justified in being happy with the fact that he's not N1,he didn't want to be)

He has to live with the fact that he basically could've prevented Touya's downfall into villainy and Death by being a good parent and he has to also live with the fact that his own 2nd eldest Son disowned him and is never gonna see him again.

Enji was heavily burnt all over, wheelchair bounded and lost a entire arm and is basically stuck like that and atoning for his sins for until the day he dies.

Unpopular opinion, a lot of people seem to forget or not realize that Endeavor most definitely died a failure,Horikoshi didn't excuse his actions and choices.
