advice needed

I took coaching from le but got distracted and loosely studied for clat 2026 and got rank 42xx. I think I butchered my preference list too bc a friend with rank higher than mine got nlu shimla and I didn't. am waiting for 4th round and hpnlu but I don't think I'll get it. Can I?

am giving cuet but my prep isn't enough to land a good college. I didn't fill out any private colleges either.

looking at clat 2026 I didn't think that the paper was that hard. I scored bad in quant because of calculation errors and less practice but it was easy enough for me to know how to do it. Similarly gk too had topics which were monthly headlines, i was able to answer surface level but not deeper. Wasn't that fazed by logical too except the ball para.

I want to take a drop and give clat a real shot. I don't think I need coaching now, I have the materials and sites I need to study from. My parents are heavily against it, because they think an exam like clat doesn't require a drop at any cost.

I don't know what to do, please give advice and reality checks.
