Benefits for the kids

A friend just told me that if the reason their kids can't get Medicaid, food stamps, other benefits, is because the parents have committed fraud or something, his mom could be made kinship foster mom and she would get money to support the kids and the kids would get all the benefits. I also feel like Grandma wouldn't give the money to the parents. She'd use it for things the kids need. They also have summer camps that wave the fee for foster kids and some kids at poverty level. That would be so wonderful! Imagine they get a week at a fun-filled camp with crafts and swimming and campfires and all the fun. Hanging with kids their age.
