PS3 on 4k TV

So I like to play video games with TV that fit them, like PS2 on CRT. And I think PS3 games look much better on HD TVs, but I heard something about those "mCable" and "mClassic"... Are they worth it to play PS3 on a 4k TV?(I mean, looks good as it looks on HD TV or similar?) I saw they're pretty expensive too. Sorry if this is a question brought a lot of times, but I'm really confused about it from what I search.
