Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua boyfriend accidentally made me emotional over a lipstick. 😭

We were together and I was reapplying my favorite YSL lipstick the same shade I’ve been using for almost 2 years. He noticed it was basically finished and asked me why I didn’t buy a new one yet. I told him I just never got the time.

He immediately said, ‘I’ll go get it for you.’
I kept telling him it’s okay and that he doesn’t need to, but he said he had free time and wanted to do it anyway. So he actually went to the YSL store by himself looking for my exact shade.
They told him it was out of stock.
Most people would probably just give up there, but apparently this man went on a full mission. 😭 He started asking staff members to help him find the closest possible match. He compared shades, tested lipsticks, checked lip oils, and even went to Sephora trying to recreate the exact same color I always wear.

Then he came back with a Benefit lipstick and a Fenty lip oil combo because together they looked almost identical to my YSL shade.
And honestly… I became more emotional over the effort than the actual makeup.

Like imagine your boyfriend standing in Sephora with lipstick swatches on his hand trying to color match your favorite shade because he knows how much you love it. 😭

he turned ‘my lipstick is over’ into a full love language
