My ADHD medication situation (Modafinil + Wellbutrin)

I have sort of a complex case...

I've been diagnosed with all sorts of things from bipolar to depression, and ADHD and currently my doctor prescribed me modafinil and Wellbutrin for my ADHD, and if this doesn't work in two weeks then he said that he will put me on Ritalin. I'm kinda scared to take Ritalin, but the modafinil and wellbutrin combo is kinda crazy to me. both are like stimulants kinda and ramp up my mind and body but I'm really not able to get any work done truly. not sure if my psych is just ruling out depression or something else, maybe trying everything before trying stimulants, but the past 2-2 days since I started have been really nice in terms of not feeling "depressed". I don't think I actually have depression, since I'm not really feeling low or sluggish, or having bad moods, its more of like I have a million things to do and my self esteem is tanking because I cannot realistically tackle these objectives of mine and I keep on falling behind. This is leading me to have a sort of "depression" or anxiety and it affects my relationships because I am getting short with people because I still have like a million things on my mind and it just keeps piling up. I don't know what to do?

My question is, could this modafinil and Wellbutrin combo not be working out? Maybe I really do have ADHD and I should just tough it out til 2 weeks time and make the switch to Ritalin so I can move forward and get shit done. I feel bad about needing a medication to do anything, but currently with my medication combo I don't feel like Im able to make any moves and I just feel kinda numb. I actually feel most productive after a cup of coffee, but that doesn't really get me up and going, it more like calms my mind so I have a short window in which I can realistically get anything done. But the way I was handling things before was having a cup of coffee like every 2 hours and by the end of the day I'd be so caffeinated that it would take a long time to fall asleep.

Im also medicated for my bipolar with depakote and it's working for my mood, it's just my mental health is tanking because I'm falling behind and that's the real issue. Because I'm 32 and struggling to do well in my college classes or really intake any information without spacing out in my classes or getting distracted heavily by my phone or social issues that I'm dealing with and I lose track of the courses pretty easily. It took me 12 years of on and off studies to obtain a certificate in audio engineering, yes 12 years, and that's only about 2 years worth of school, so there's clearly an issue with me staying on course and following through/being motivated and this issue has not been addressed yet until recently with the switch to some stimulants like modafinl and also the Wellbutrin which isn't really a stimulant but it has stimulant like effects and its getting me like 40% of the way there, but my motivation and follow through, as well as my terrible management of my day has put me in a sort of depression but its not like my depression in my early 20s, not even the same, its more like my self esteem is so low that at times I'd rather just do something simple like get on YouTube or play a video game to achieve that feeling of accomplishing something or completing something simple, than actually doing what I ought to do. Any advice or insight?
