Deleted Assginments

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this issue but, when Canvas went down I was still able to submit my assignments (discussion questions) up until 9:41 PM. However these assignments that I submitted are no longer there and It says there's no edit history. I'm not sure what to do and I need some advice. I've already emailed my professor and have a ticket with my IT team but I'm afraid I'm gonna fail this class. Any Advice?
