2.0t - Big Brakes? (UK owner)
Hi All ππ»
Located in the UK before I get told to go and buy a 3.0t or 3.7 and not waste my money on a 2.0t.... we never got really those βΉοΈ
SO!
I have a 2.0t that will be getting remapped.
But before that I'm sorting various maintenance bits that need to be done before any fun modifications due to our crap weather and salty roads.
I've just changed all the shocks to Tein Flex Z coilovers, and will be whipping the bumper(s) off to sort a headlight issue + replace the rear reinforcement bar as it's heavily corroded due to Nissan's wise decision to join steel to aluminium...
Wheels could do with a strip and power coat too π€
Anyway!
While in the process of these things, I was wondering if it's possible to fit the larger calipers from a hybrid/sport model in the US to a 2.0t with the "standard" calipers?
Questions:
-
Has anyone done this?
-
Do I need to change the master cylinder?
-
Other than the calipers, brake discs, lines, and bolts.... Anything else I need?
I'm heavily assuming it's a fairly straightforward swap with the above items, but as there seems to be zero info ref: doing this on a 2.0t online, I thought I'd ask the experts π
Any help is appreciated! π
