Hello, fellow matriculants! I am writing to share my passion project: **Miskatonic University Registrar,** a fully Web-based, open source Call of Cthulhu character builder.

I'd love your feedback on it, in this early ~~larval~~ alpha stage.

Features include:

* Sign-in via Google and Discord
* 1920s + Gaslight era support
* 3D dice rolling (that you can disable)
* Export to PDF, Markdown, JSON for Foundry
* Public "share" links available to non-logged-in usersd
* "Play Mode" with a log of all dice rolls
* "Edit Mode" that lets you edit a sheet for customizations or character progression
* Light and dark options, as well as 1920s and 1980s visual modes

This is a very early stage, as I said above. I'm just getting started, but I ***need*** feedback. The more you can offer and use it for your games, or just poke around and tell me what you like and what you don't like, that will be really helpful. No feedback is too small.

My plan is to make this app fully open source. You can read all the code on [GitHub today if you like](https://github.com/arrowedisgaming/MiskatonicUniversityRegistrar). I don't plan to charge for access. Maybe if this goes viral, I might ask for some donations for server costs, but for now it's free, and the code is available if you want to download it or run it yourself.

Full disclosure: I used Claude Code to help with some of the more tricky coding bits. I hope this doesn't run afoul of the sub's "No AI" policy?

**If you have feedback, feel free to open an Issue on Github, or just reply here.**

Thanks in advance!
