Scleral lenses usage

I have had keratoconus for maybe 17 years or so, underwent collagen cross linking in both eyes around 14 years ago .. the progression may have halted but as with most I have a terrible vision.. over the years glasses have helped somewhat and I have been able to do everything I typically do (except reading books for long as that’s stressful with the poor vision) .. over last few years I was educated about scleral lenses .. I went through a few purely horrible sessions for fitment ..
I don’t think I can do this , have any of yall been okay with just sticking to glasses ? 😢.. that’s what I told my doc ..
