Is flower pot fungus dangerous?

There's a small growth of flower pot fungus in the deepest layer of damp dirt in my curly hair's enclosure. Wondering if its harmful to her cause she's a day or two away from burrowing into it lol.

It dies back when I let the soil go dry but I don't like doing that, she has extensive burrows and I'm worried about collapse.
