Looking for Shanghai hotel recommendations.

Hi. My in-laws are planning a trip to China and they're looking for a hotel to spend the night in Shanghai before moving on to the next leg of their trip. They've narrowed it down to Shanghai Hongqiao Heyitang Hotel and SSAW Pagoda Hotel. What's important to them is the location to malls and a grocery plus of course dining establishments. For those who're familiar with the hotels, which would you recommend? Thank you very much.
