exam 1/2WPO

I have a midterm scheduled for ~a week post op and I reached out to my professor about a possible deferral due to the fact that my surgeon suggested a minimum of 4 weeks of at home rest but he responded saying that they offer a makeup midterm a week after the original scheduled date which would still be 2WPO. Now obviously, I know that an exam isn’t particularly physically demanding but the real issue lies in the fact that my commute to campus is about 2 hours long(one way) via public transit which is usually my only option since I can’t drive and even if i did go by car, I can expect to take at least 40-45 minutes which can be very draining even when im not in recovery. Because of this reason, i opted to take all my courses online but unfortunately, this one course has in person exams. I guess I’m just trying to ask if I should still give it a try and go in for the exam 2WPO or try to find a different alternative (or forfeit the grade and try to do well in everything else lol)
