Able to log on BUT school said to WAIT

I’m able to get onto canvas on my phone and computer and see everything. I got an email from professor checking in with us. I called the school tech dept and told him how I’m able to log on and he said he doesn’t know how I can because he still can’t and told me to log out just in case hackers are still able to get info and to wait until the school releases an offical statement.
