Can't hit superglides on new keyboard - input polling/scanning issue?

I went from a regular Keychron K2 to the Keychron K2 HE recently, but supergliding became almost impossible to do with any consistency with the new keyboard.

I am reasonably sure it's not a timing/skill issue; I've messed with the travel settings to tweak the timing, but the keyboard doesn't seem to like giving the crouch one frame after the jump. I have about 40 percent consistency with the new one, and in the firing range I went and plugged in the old board and proceeded to hit 10 in a row.

I actually had a very similar issue on the old keyboard when using space + C. If I went into notepad and tried to do the input, it would always do the crouch input first. And if I waited longer to press crouch, the frame window in game would have already gone by which would make it impossible to hit unless my framerate dropped. Switching to space + N/M I immediately hit three in a row after literally not hitting a single one for months. However this new keyboard seems to have the inconsistency on both buttons.

I suspect something to do with how the keyboard scans for input that makes it not want to give the crouch input a frame after the jump input. Wondering if anyone found a solution to this issue (was considering changing the poll rate with QMK to see if that would do anything).
