Weirdly miss when reselling was just a side hobby
When I first started selling vintage on Depop it was way more fun honestly. Would go charity shopping after work, find a couple nice pieces, list them and be happy if I made an extra £50 that week.
Now I’m trying to take it more seriously and suddenly all I think about is sourcing stock. Every decent thrift near me gets cleared instantly and the vintage warehouses near Birmingham feel like the hunger games at this point. I use Fleek pretty regularly now because I dont really know how people scale without some kind of wholesale mixed in. Been decent for keeping inventory flowing when local sourcing dries up. I mainly stick to suppliers with loads of reviews and clearer grading because bad stock is still my biggest fear. Just feels weird how quickly a fun hobby turns into constantly worrying about inventory.
