Genuine Question: Did Anyone Get a Job This Season? (Audition Wrap-Up 2026)

Hey everyone!

From everyone I've spoken to and from what I've seen online, this has sounded like one of the toughest audition seasons yet. I'm curious to know what people's experiences this year were with company auditioning- did you have more or less success in audition invitations or offers than in previous years? Did your classmates/coworkers have similar rates of success? If you got a job, or know someone who got a job, how did they end up getting it? Do you have any advice to future auditioners after this year's audition season?

I auditioned this season, but far less than last year, as I already have a contract that I'm comfortable with. While I received more positive feedback and invitations than in previous years, I wasn't able to get anything stronger than my current position. The people I know who were able to move up into legit paid positions were those who already had connections with those companies, either through their current companies or former teachers.
