Is it wrong to find it weird when a white guy has a type for females of an ethnic minority?

Ok so I am 29F woman from Pakistan. I have always had a type for white boys so I know this is ironic. I think it likely comes from rejection of my own culture as I’m ’too dark’.

The more I have thought about it, despite how I like white boys (I can’t tell if this is partially from a white superiority complex- growing up where I was white was always seen as better, lighter skin as the ideal), I find it kind of weird when I’m dating a white guy who only has a history with brown women.

Is this valid from me? They won’t all be from the same country, but it feels like somewhat of a fetish but I can’t tell? They never make comments about my ethnicity, but it feels wrong in some way and I can’t decipher why. Can someone help me with this??
