About a year ago I was doing what most newer traders probably go through.

Jumping into random plays.

Chasing momentum too late.

Taking trades without a real plan.

Using too many indicators and still having no consistency.

I spent months watching videos, testing strategies, and honestly just overcomplicating everything.

The biggest shift for me wasn’t finding some secret setup.

It was finally building structure around my trading.

Now I mainly focus on:

Volume

Higher timeframe levels

Liquidity around obvious highs/lows

Waiting for confirmation instead of predicting

Managing risk before entering

It sounds simple, but simplifying things helped me way more than constantly searching for new indicators.

I also started using a basic checklist before every trade to avoid emotional entries and revenge trading.

Not saying I’ve mastered trading or anything like that. Still learning every day and still refining the process.

But compared to where I was before, the difference has honestly been huge.

A few people recently asked me about the checklist and the way I track setups, so I’ve been thinking about organizing it better.

If you’re also trying to become more consistent or clean up your process, I’d genuinely be interested in hearing how other people here approach it too.

From constantly losing to finally trading with structure
