2203 system configuration is invalid error on boot

So, I went to all the trouble to replace a blown motherboard with an 8665u and married it to a good touchscreen to assemble a nice T490 with a 256G SSd and 16G Ram. It boots with the above error, even though after hitting ESC it goes ahead to install and load Win11 perfectly. I tried the remedies suggested online including disconnecting the bios battery and running Vantage to update the bios. No help. Then, deeper dive led to suggestions that maybe the whole motherboard needs to be replaced. I don't wanna do that. I have another motherboard, an 8365, but what a lot of work that is. Does anyone know the real cure? Isn't there a way to flash a corrected BIOS that cures the incompatibility between the Mobo and the screen? Or, so I just ignore it, hit escape whenever I turn on this machine and go to Windows normally. I'm using the machine to write this. Incidentally, if it were a cure for this error, I'd gladly load Linux instead. I considered it originally, since I have plenty of Win11 Lenovos.
