Am I the problem or is it the LA road system?

I’ve been driving for almost 2 decades and never popped a single tire. I moved to LA about 2 years ago bought a car with new tires shortly after and just had to replace a tire for the 5th time…

I live in encino/Sherman oaks area and work in west LA (no highways on the commute, just back roads over the hills- 5 days a week). Cart I’m not driving a Ferrari or anything but it thinner “performance/sport” wheels (although this have been a problem in any other city I lived in)

Am I the problem or is it the shitty bumpy and pot hole covered roads of LA?
