Has anyone ever come to the realization that they actually weren’t inhaling through their nose properly and that was a huge factor in their posture problems?
I’ve been battling tech neck and apt for years, attempting to strengthen my neck muscles and keep my tongue on the roof of my mouth. I just wasn’t getting it, until I figured out one thing in particular: Even with my mouth closed, when I breathe in it still rarely goes through my nose unless I focus on it. When I actually inhale through my nose, my tongue goes to the roof of my mouth, I feel these muscles in my face opening up around my nasal cavities and eyes, and I feel my face and neck coming into shape like a balloon. I can move my head back properly this way. The problem is making it a habit that sticks. When I practice it for a short while, I get anxious and dizzy.
