We couldn't be in a better spot after Game 3
I'm not sure why everyone is upset in the sub today. The Flyers have the Hurricanes right where they want them. It's shocking that you all are missing the plot. The Flyers barely snuck into the playoffs this year, just like 2010. The Flyers clearly went down 0-3 in this 2nd round series on purpose, just like 2010. I really applaud the Flyers for paying homage to one of the most iconic teams in franchise history. I'll probably get downvoted, but every egregious call against the Flyers last night had me euphoric. When we went down 3-1 last night, I was so relieved and started jumping for joy.
Why? Because here are the facts.. OT (short for Owen Tippett) will return in Game 4 and score the game winner in OT (short for overtime), and you'll feel Deja Vu. Memories of Simon Gagne doing the same thing will flood your head. I honestly feel really bad for the Hurricanes fans, because they really think this will finally be their year.
Reverse sweep incoming. Flyers are currently +25000 to win the Stanley Cup this year on DraftKings; I'm about to retire.
