Audition Accompaniment Help
Hi all~ I'm sorry in advance that this is a total newb question! I haven't auditioned for musical theater since I was a teenager and am now returning to it as an adult (31F). I've been told to do 32 bars of singing, providing sheet music and cuts for the accompanist. I'm wondering, is it okay to add 2 extra bars of intro/pure accompaniment just for the pianist, or do I need to tell them to start immediately when I start singing? I'm starting after the first 10 measures or so, and then the remaining 32 go until the end of the song.
TIA!♥️
