HLS video with audio that isn't coming through

Statistics

Codec

I have a video stream that I’ve opened in VLC; I can see that there’s audio listed in the ‘Codec Information’, and there’s a track, but under ‘Codec Information -> Statistics’, it says the audio is ‘lost’ rather than ‘playing’. If you know the solution, I’d love to hear it.
