RG DS Can't Remap Joiplay Controls?

Anyone have any feedback?

Im trying to play some games on my Ambernic RG DS and every time i try clicking "remap" it doesnt work. I just want to play some games using Joiplay, it works fine otherwise but i cant seem to map the controls.

Any clues?
