Ran into an awkward boy in my society

Pata hai aaj kya hua.

I'm an old man, retired from BSNL in Maharashtra and living with my family in a gated society. I am originally from Gujarat. It's my routine that I go for a walk everyday around the society but to reach the starting point, I have to use my old scooter. I was doing the same today. I keep a stick with me to fend off dogs here.

After about 30 minutes of walking, I was tired and decided I'll go home. I kept the stick aside and started my scooter after tilting it to one side. All of a sudden, a young boy comes up to me and in a very hushed tone, says something about some help. I'm not sure what he's saying, maybe he wanted some help and had difficulty breathing. He again said something in Marathi i didn't understand. I was too confused to say something. I thought he was trying to prank me or something since I've been fooled like this before.

Hence, I started my scooter and simply went away, seeing that the boy, in fact, did not need any help.

Got awkward.
