Let's be honest: Firefox 150 is a vibe-coded disaster.
I have had so many issues with Firefox since it upgraded to 150. I can't find any great bug reports out there, but my laundry-list of issues include:
- SSO dashboard logins that used to work now get caught in infinite redirect hell, including a brand new "are you sure you want to resend this information" popup that you don't actually need to click
- Anything that involves SSO redirects strips useful information, so you only get sent to the app's main page and not the page you were trying to click through to. Good luck finding that document in Confluence, OneDrive, whatever.
- Loading GitHub (or anything really) shows a bunch of unstyled junk, and loading freezes for an inordinately long time on things served up by a CDN that should *just work*. I'm talking about favicons, people.
Those are the big ones that are making the browser damn-near unusable, but I refuse to go back to Google so long as uBlock is still available.
Anyway, all I've been able to find about this release is how much they're patting themselves on the back for automatically fixing all these "bugs" using Claude Mythos. But how many bugs did they introduce?
Given the bad experience with Firefox, I'm looking forward to seeing what sci-fi cataclysm the military using Mythos will be. What a world we live in.
