I had two refund checks returned to lender, but they have not yet been deducted in my aidvantage portal.

I had two refund checks totaling about $20k that I never cashed. I worked full time throughout school, so I didn't really need the money and I was told that the 20k will be deducted from my total loan amount.

However, both of them still appear when I log onto my aidvantage. One of the returned checks is from two years ago, so its definitely been some time. Should I start making a fuss about this with my old school?
