Is this just a game to see who's better at lying?
The more I reflect on the application process, the more I realize it's to see who's better at lying.
As a candidate you would need to lie to get hired or as an employee you would need to lie to stay hired.
Here's the questions that will force you to lie:
-
Why are you thinking of leaving your current position?
-
Why are you interested in this position or our company?
-
What are your views on AI?
Conversely, hiring managers or recruiters will lie if you ask:
-
What is the financial situation of your company?
-
Where do you see this company in the next 5 years?
PS: I am NOT advocating for lying about your skill set or experience.
