How to Kara Cancel in Strive?

(PS5 controller) Sin main here. Now I understand what a Kara is, and I can perform one, but I'm mostly doing it on accident. Back in like season three, I used Kara Tyrant a lot, but then stopped (like a FOOL) after they made the change to Sin's Karas that had them burn stamina to use. Now my muscles have no memory to speak of on how to do it properly and I feel the fraud allegations creeping in lol.

Unless I'm mistaken, the inputs for Kara Tyrant are Special/Follow-up>gazelle step~immediate Tyrant Barrel with a bar of stamina available. Now the part that tricks me up the most is the timing for the Kara. Should I start the input for Tyrant Barrel before Gazelle Step (read: special>first 236~gazelle~second 236P), or is it after Gazelle and I just have to be really fast and precise in my execution?
