Am I wrong for being angry?

My husband depleted our savings, lost his life insurance and, in general, has devastated us financially upon retirement. I know I am to blame for trusting him with our finances. He said his ex-wife almost lost everything for them so he took control the bills and was doing it when I met him. I have no respect for him, but I am “stuck” with the jerk. Over 25 years of deceit and lies. I can’t even bury the POS.
