How can I tell if I have an aftermarket intercooler?

I bought my 2017 MK7 GTI used from a VW dealership about 6 months ago, and learned that it had been APR Stage 1 before the dealership flashed it back to stock tuning.
I put the Stage 1 tune back on it after confirming the engine and powertrain were all good, and would like to go Stage 2 soon.

However, I am now thinking that the previous owner might have installed an aftermarket intercooler, since it seems to take much longer to heat soak than it would normally, especially being in Florida where it has been 90F the past few days.
How can I tell if the previous owner put an upgraded intercooler on without taking the whole front apart?
