Beating Polyphemus before work this morning reminded me of what is lacking in Diablo 4

Basically title. I play about an hour before work every morning, and had gone up against Polyphemus 4 or 5 times before and got squashed. The level scaling in d4 robs you of getting outmatched in an area you’re not ready for yet and then grinding a bit and going back and succeeding. It’s a great feeling. I still enjoy d4, but older ARPGs remind me of what it lacks.
