Missed my original NQ entry… waited instead and passed my 50K eval

Passed my 50K eval today on NQ during a live session.

What’s interesting is I actually missed my original entry.

HTF was bullish across the board:
• Daily bullish
• 4H bullish
• 1H bullish
• Price sitting at ATHs

PDH got swept and since it was the second touch, I still viewed it as a magnet above. Originally wanted the long off a 5m bullish FVG pullback, but I didn’t like how price was reacting and almost forced the entry anyway. Instead, I waited. Eventually got another bullish displacement, another bullish FVG formed, then price gave a cleaner bearish pullback into it. Took the long there instead.

Trade details:
• 2 NQ contracts
• SL: 98 ticks
• TP: 150 ticks
• Moved SL to BE after bullish close above NYAM high following the sweep

Ended up being the trade that passed the eval.
Honestly the biggest takeaway wasn’t the payout. It was staying disciplined after missing the first setup. Months ago I probably would’ve chased it emotionally. Curious how many of you struggle more with patience than actual analysis.
